Cruz eDiscovery Professional Services resources follow established procedures and appropriate tools and technologies in carrying out the tasks in data collection and preservation. The objective is to ensure the accurate management of collected data through strict chain of custody documentation. In addition, an MD5 hash value is computed for every collected file. This hash value is continuously referenced in order to ensure that data has not been inadvertently changed. The client is provided with a listing of the hash values for the collected data. All media is stored in a secure evidence locker. The location of this could be at the client end, at our data center, or at our partner data center facility, as determined and approved by the client.
